Blade Recruitment is trying to fill an exciting job that has become available for a Maintenance Manager in an Elite

London hotel, based in the Victoria area of London. The Maintenance Manager job role will be working 40hrs pw M-F 8-5 & paying up to £62k pa.

JOB DUTIES

The Maintenance Manager job is responsible for the maintenance department and the day to day maintenance of the hotel and for a team of 15 in the maintenance department.

The Maintenance Manager job will involve the development & implementation of maintenance programs, manage any construction projects or refurbishment works, & will be responsible for purchasing for the department, including the appointing & management of sub contractors.

The Maintenance Manager job will manage the annual maintenance budgets, & be involved in setting & developing & implement the maintenance expenditure budget & compile the department budget reports.

In addition, the job will also involve staff team management, & will be responsible for recruitment , selection, inductions & training & development for the maintenance department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Manager job role will have an excellent understanding of electrical & mechanical building systems & have worked in a similar role and managed a similar sized maintenance department.

Ideally the candidate will live within a commutable distance from the London hotel.

Preferably the Maintenance Manager will come from a hotel background in a similar job role such as Facilities Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering Maintenance Manager or Estates Manager.
