Blade Recruitment has an exciting job that has become available for a Maintenance Engineer in the London Area for an Elite London hotel. The Maintenance Manager job role will be working early & late shifts, 40hrs pw, weekend shifts included, paying up to £16 p/h, temp ongoing with a possibility of going permanent.
JOB DUTIES
- The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for building services & general building maintenance, will attend to the maintenance & repairs of all building fabric, mechanical & electrical plant.
- Responsible for carrying out some basic carpentry, painting & decorating, general lifting & shifting, basic electrical and plumbing work.
- The Maintenance Engineer job will also involve attending to general repairs, installation, maintenance, cleaning, & assembly of projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- The ideal candidate for the job vacancy of Maintenance Engineer - London Area, will have previous experience in a similar job role in a Hotel or commercial building as a Maintenance Handyman, Shift Engineer, Maintenance Assistant or Maintenance Technician.
- The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have basic experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, painting & decorating & carpentry work.
- The Maintenance Engineer job will suit someone with a Multi Skilled background who has a good knowledge of building maintenance, facilities or estates.
- Ideally the candidate will be extremely well presented, up to 5 Star std & have excellent communication skills

- Salary up to£16.00 per hour
- Early & late shifts 7am-3.30pm / 2.30pm-11pm incl. Weekends 9am-9pm
- 20 days holidays + 8 bank holidays per year
